MULTIMEDIA ENGINE FIXES

Fixes of bugs of the multimedia engine can be found on the related support page

Fixed builds can be downloaded using the same link, username and password received after purchasing the product: if you should have lost them or if they shouldn't work anymore, please, contact our Technical support.

VERY IMPORTANT: Before proceeding with the installation of updated versions, don't forget to close all of the running applications and to UNINSTALL the existing version: missing this step could prevent the new version to run correctly on your development PC.

Fixed Bugs (since version 8.0)

  • Invoking the DisplayWaveformAnalyzer.MouseActionRectangleGet method may generate an exception
  • After splitting an item available on the TracksBoard, the left portion of the split item in not audible when the session is played
  • Moving a volume point while an item available on the TracksBoard is being refreshed causes a GPF
  • When scrolling or zooming the tracksboard, the tracker of a selected item going outside of the visible range is still partially displayed
  • The TracksBoard.PlayHeadPositionSet doesn't move the position of the play head line during playback of the session
  • Repositioning of the TracksBoard playback position through the mouse is not always correct
  • The ocx file fails to register on the Windows XP system registry
  • After a pause of the tracksboard session's playback the play head line may be wrongly positioned
  • The OutputDeviceSet method is not immediately applied to a playing tracksboard session
  • When a tracksboard session is saved, the volume amplitude of each item is saved correctly but not applied when the saved session is loaded at a later time
  • The TracksBoard.ExportToFile method always fails with error ERR_EDITOR_BUSY
  • The TracksBoard.ItemClone method adds a gap of 1 millisecond in between the clones
  • The GetPlaybackStatus method doesn't return the correct status when playing a TracksBoard session
  • The Downloader object doesn't work correctly with FTP sites when parallel download is enabled
  • The Downloader object doesn't work correctly when accessing FTP sites with username and/or password containing special characters like the "@" character
  • Locking the position of an item added to the tracksboard may cause a huge CPU load when the session is zoomed in
  • While playing a TracksBoard session, the SoundPositionGet method returns the last position of the playhead instead of the real playback position; the issue is more visible when playing a very long session.
  • When a new volume point is added through the TracksBoard.ItemVolumePointAdd method, having the fAmplitude parameter set to -1, the amplitude of the volume point is set to 0 instead of inheriting the same amplitude of the previous volume point.
  • In very rare situations a GPF could be raised when clicking the TracksBoard area with the right button of the mouse
