CoreAudioDevices.SessionVolumeGet method

Remarks

 

Obtains the audio volume of the current session. The current volume can be modified through the CoreAudioDevices.SessionVolumeSet method.

You can be notified in real-time about session's volume changes performed through the Windows Mixer by catching the CoreAudioSessionVolumeChange event.

 

This method is only intended for usage with Windows Vista and later versions: further information about management of audio devices in Windows Vista and later versions can be found inside the How to access settings of audio devices in Windows Vista and later versions tutorial.

Parameter

fVolumeLevel

Reference that, on return from the method call, will contain the session's volume level. Can be a value between 0 and 100.
