MidiDjConsole.DisplaySegmentCountGet method |
![]() ![]() ![]() |
Remarks
Certain models of DJ consoles come with one or more displays, also known as "VFD" which stands for "Vacuum Fluorescent Display", allowing to display a string of alphanumeric characters: this method allows enumerating VFD segments whose management is embedded inside the component. After completing the enumeration, the name of each segment and related parameters can be retrieved through the MidiDjConsole.DisplaySegmentInfoGet method.
You can verify if the control comes with support for managing VFD segments of the connected DJ Console through the MidiDjConsole.DisplaySegmentManagementAvailable method.
For further details about interfacing with MIDI DJ Consoles see the MidiDjConsole object section and the How to manage MIDI DJ consoles tutorial.
